Days 10 & 11: Plyo Cardio Circuit, Cardio Power & Resistance

Bottom line: I spent a few more grueling Insanity days and added in a couple extra barre workouts. I discuss some of my results today.

Whew, Plyo Cardio Circuit on Friday, then Physique 57 yesterday, and finally, Cardio Power & Resistance today. I'm on a roll! And if that weren't enough, I decided to top off my workout for today with The Bar Method- Change Your Body.

I don't have much to discuss today about the workouts, so let's talk results! Since beginning my Insanity rotation, I have definitely leaned up, most noticeably (surprisingly) in my arms, but also definitely in my waist. My jeans seem to be fitting looser at my waist as well. I have lost a few pounds, but any of that could be water weight, so I wouldn't consider those results significant. I'm definitely finding the workouts easier and am able to complete more repetitions at a more rapid speed.

Most importantly, I've been having an absolute blast with this rotation, thoroughly enjoying the shorter workouts (not to mention my own music, for once!), and my body seems to be benefiting from it. It remains to be seen whether this rotation provides me with amazing results or if the changes i've noticed have simply resulted from changing up my routine. As I always say…. the most effective workout is the one you're not doing right now.
